The product
What goes on the shelf.
Finished boards photographed in the workshop: the finishes edge on, the routed trays, the footers underneath, and the carton each one ships in.

Why it moves
Made-in-Canada is doing the selling right now.
A 2025 Ipsos survey commissioned by Lightspeed, reported by Retail Insider, put the share of Canadian consumers who prioritise buying Canadian-made at 91%. Source 1: Ipsos, commissioned by Lightspeed Commerce; reported by Retail Insider, Retail Insider 2025 One vendor-commissioned number is not a business case, and we would rather you weighed it against your own till than took it from us. But it points where your floor already points: made-here is the question customers ask out loud, and a thirty-inch piece of Canadian birch answers it more loudly than a candle does.
The bath shelf in most gift shops is bamboo, imported, and priced to be forgotten. There is no premium Canadian option on it, which is the whole reason we are knocking on your door rather than a chain buyer’s. You are not stocking a fourth version of something you already carry.

Reported that 91% of surveyed Canadian consumers prioritise buying Canadian-made products. Trade-press coverage of a survey commissioned by a commerce vendor rather than a published dataset — we have not seen the questionnaire, the sample, or how "prioritise" was put to respondents, so read it as the direction of sentiment rather than a precise figure.
On your floor
What it does in a shop.
It sells at a gift price.
$150 retail is the bracket a shop already turns over for a housewarming, a milestone birthday, or a Mother’s Day present that has to look like it cost more than it did. It is not an impulse buy and it is not a considered-purchase furniture sale.
It answers the questions your staff get asked.
Where is it made, what is on the wood, will it go mouldy. Made in Canada; VOC- and solvent-free stains and sealants that are human, animal and plant safe; cross-ply birch that holds its shape in a humid room better than solid timber. All of it is on the box and on our site, so nobody has to improvise.
It is a window piece.
Thirty inches of birch with a wine notch cut into it does not sit quietly on a shelf, and it gives you something to build a bath display around rather than another small box to face out.
What you would be carrying
A 30-inch birch bath board, made in Canada.
It spans the tub and holds what a person actually wants within reach: a book or a tablet propped in the groove, a candle in a draining tray, a glass in the bowled notch. Slide-adjustable footers fit tubs 29 inches wide or less, and setup takes minutes with no tools.
It is cross-ply birch: layered, cross-directional grain that holds its shape in a humid bathroom better than solid timber. The finish is VOC- and solvent-free stains and sealants that are human, animal and plant safe. It is real wood, so it ages and shows its use — worth saying at the till, because it is the thing customers ask about second.
One honest caveat for your floor staff: it needs a tub with a sill on each side, and it fits tubs up to 29 inches wide. That is a two-minute conversation at the counter and it is the single most common reason a bath board goes back.
- 30″ × 11.75″ × ¾″, 9.5 lbs. Fits standard, freestanding and clawfoot tubs up to 29″ wide
- Bowled wine-glass notch, 12″ tablet groove and backstand, two 4″ × 6″ side trays
- Draining candle and soap trays, loofah hook, incense holder
- Four finishes in stock: Milk Birch, Cognac, Havana and Plum
- FSC- and PEFC-certified timber, verified with supplier documentation
- Boxed with care notes and no-tools assembly hardware

How wholesale works
Five boards, an email, and a date.
-
1 · Tell us what you want to carry
Which finishes, and how many. Packs of five or ten to start. There is no 24-per-SKU minimum here — you are not committing your bath shelf to a pallet to find out whether it sells.
-
2 · We quote and confirm a date
Finished stock ships as soon as it is ordered. A run we have to make takes about two weeks through the shop before it ships. You get told which of those you are in before you pay, not after.
-
3 · It ships to the shop
Via Freightcom, Canada-wide, around $50 for a five-to-ten board pack in its heavier packaging. We can split a pack across finishes.
-
4 · Reorder in an email
We keep your finishes, your address and your last order on file, so a reorder is one line. There is no wholesale portal yet — that is planned, and until it exists a human reads your email, which is honestly faster at our size.
We are a small operation and wholesale is a new channel for us. If something about the way your shop buys does not fit the above — a purchase order, a particular delivery window, a season you have to plan around — say so in the first email and we will tell you straight whether we can do it.
Pricing
What it costs.
Your first pack
we will give you the figure in the first reply
- Five or ten boards, mixed across finishes if you want
- No per-SKU minimum and no account to open
- Invoiced, so it goes through your books the way the rest of your buying does
Ongoing and larger volume
tell us the rough annual count
- For a shop reordering through the season, a gift-basket company building a package, or a small group of locations
- Tell us roughly how many a year and we will price it. No proposal deck, no discovery call
- We will tell you what we can actually make in a quarter before you plan around it
What we can tell you before you email
- Retail is $150 CAD a board, which is what your customers see on our site
- Shipping a five-to-ten board pack runs around $50 anywhere in Canada
- A run we have to make takes about two weeks in the shop before it ships
- The wholesale rate itself is quoted rather than published, because we price it off what a pack actually costs us to make and land. We would rather give you a figure we can hold to than post one we have to walk back in a month
Who makes them
Cut, sanded, stained and boxed in Alberta.
Small-batch, in the Calgary–Edmonton corridor. The boards are CNC-cut at a local shop, then sanded, stained, sealed and packed by hand. A full run takes about two weeks end to end, which is why the date matters more than the order form.
We would rather show you that than borrow someone else’s credibility. We are new to wholesale and have no stockist references to hand you yet; when we have them they will be real shops, named, with their permission.
- Made in Canada: hardware and materials meet the Competition Bureau’s Canadian-content threshold for the claim
- FSC- and PEFC-certified timber
- VOC- and solvent-free finishes, human, animal and plant safe
- Ships across Canada; no US shipping yet
Also for
Not only gift shops.
- A centrepiece that carries a basket rather than filling it, and one nobody else in your market is putting in a box. Five to ten a quarter is a normal place to start.
- Consistent Canadian-made wood across a handful of rooms. Tell us how many tubs and how wide, because the 29-inch limit matters more when you are buying for rooms you have not measured.
- A year-end or milestone gift that is not a branded water bottle. We do not print logos on the face of the board, and we would talk you out of it if you asked.
- A different sale, and it has its own page: one board with a closing date on it, or a case for the office.
Questions buyers ask
What is the minimum order?
A pack of five. That is deliberately low for this category — the wholesale board sellers we are competing with ask for twelve to twenty-four per SKU before they will talk to you. We would rather you found out on five whether it sells in your shop.
What is the wholesale price?
We quote it per order in the first reply, usually within a business day or two. We have not published a rate card because we price off what a pack actually costs us to make and land, and that figure is still settling as our production scales. A number we have to walk back is worse for you than a quick email.
How long does an order take?
Finished stock ships as soon as you order it. If we have to make a run it is about two weeks in the shop, plus transit. Tell us if you are buying for a season and we will tell you honestly what we can have ready.
What does shipping cost?
Around $50 for a five-to-ten board pack, anywhere in Canada, via Freightcom. Single boards on the retail site ship free. No shipping outside Canada yet.
Can I mix finishes in one pack?
Yes. Milk Birch, Cognac, Havana and Plum are the four in stock. Raw — unstained and unsealed — is in our specification but is not orderable at the moment; ask if you want it and we will tell you where it is.
Do you offer payment terms, and can I be invoiced?
We invoice wholesale orders. On terms: tell us what your shop normally works to and we will confirm in the first reply. We are small enough that this is a conversation rather than a policy, and we would rather agree it with you than publish something rigid.
Do you give a shop exclusivity in its area?
We have not set a territory policy, and we are not going to pretend otherwise. Ask, and we will tell you plainly which shops we are already in near you before you commit to a pack.
What happens if a board arrives damaged?
Email us a photo and we will replace it. We have not had to write a formal trade returns policy yet, so this is handled directly and quickly rather than through a process. What we cannot take back is a board a customer returns because it did not fit their tub — that is why the 29-inch limit is worth saying at the till.
Do you do consignment?
No. Everything is bought outright, which is part of why the first pack is only five boards.
Is the gift bundle available wholesale?
Not right now. The Gift Basket Bundle pairs the board with soap, a candle and other bits from Canadian makers, and it is not in production — the board itself is what we can supply reliably today.
Order one at retail first, if you would rather see it.
Most buyers want the thing in their hands before it goes on their floor. Order a single board at retail, look at the finish and the weight of it, and email us from there. If you already know, skip that and tell us how many.
We reply within 1–2 business days.
